Little Oaks Pre School hosted a Garden Party on Sunday 11th September to celebrate the new play space which had been developed over the summer. The Deputy Mayor of Surrey Heath, Cllr Valerie White, officially opened the new play space, and the children also had an opportunity to play.

The project, mainly funded by the Tesco Bags of Help grant scheme has developed a tired but much used space, into a space for creative play, exploring the world and encouraging nature and wildlife. The project was also supported by The Grove school, who donated the additional land and Bulger homes who donated and fitted the new fence. We would also like to thank Haydn and Vanessa Land for supporting the pre-schools May Fair and accessing match funding from Microsoft, this has provided the pre school with a new flooring.

The committee, run by parent volunteers have worked incredibly hard to access funds for the development of the outside area which will make a huge difference to the play and learning opportunities available to the children attending the pre school. Below are some photos of the development of the outside area of the pre school.

Thank you to  everyone for coming to our garden party.
