About Us

Little Oaks Pre-School was established in 1976. It is a community run registered charity operating under the model constitution of the Pre-School Learning Alliance. All parents are welcome to join the committee and have a voice in the running of the pre-school. An Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held at the beginning of the academic year (September/October) during which the management committee is elected from volunteering parents whose children attend the pre-school; this ensures that decision making is in the hands of the parents who use the group, enabling the employed professional staff to operate and supervise the day to day and educational priorities of the pre-school.

We encourage all parents to get to know the staff and members of the committee and get involved in the committee’s curricular and extra-curricular activities (like coffee mornings, fayres, raffles and nights out). If you are new to the area it’s also a great way to make new friends.
