This week we have been looking at how to celebrate Chinese new year. The children have enjoyed the decorations at Little oaks as well as listening to a simplified version of the Nian story, the children have also been trying to use chopsticks to pick up noodles and making lots of noise to scare away the Nian. At song time we have been singing the song “A dragons very fierce”

A dragons very Fierce,

A dragons very tough,

And when it breaths out orange fire,

The smoke comes out in puffs,

His scales are shiny green,

They make a rattling sound,

His teeth go chomp,

His feet go stomp,

And his tail beats on the ground.

Below is a picture of some of our decorations and the baby dragon that our children drew as a group.
